Release Your Inner Music
Joining a drum circle, creating sounds with kids, jamming with your friends, or simply banging out some beats by yourself any time of day, are all great ways to tune in to your innate musicality. Making music can help to release the day’s stress, tune you into the present moment, work out your frustrations, or just experiment with sounds and frequencies – all while having fun!
Drumming has been found to aid in the relief of depression, as well as many other physical illness! Isn’t it cool to think that by taking time to tune into rhythms and beats, we can actually be healing parts of ourselves as well.
————-
We have been finding some really interesting new kinds of percussion instruments in Bali on our last few visits.
Recycled propane tanks – turned painted drums are really neat ! Even a small child could make them sound nice, so they don’t take allot of practice to make great sounds.
You may also be aware that we carry many sizes of Djembe Drums (originally these are drums native to Africa). Each one is unique and each one is hand crafted, some having carvings on them, or painted motifs. We even get some that have fur rims or other unusual and funky attributes. We stock lots of different sizes and price ranges.
If you are looking for something to add to a child’s musical experience,
you will want to check out the shakers, rattles and baby drums that we have in store too.
Lots To Choose From
We also carry a variety of other instruments, including Congas, Tibetan Singing Bowls in various sizes, and Didgeridoos.
Thanks for reading! One last thing…. All our instruments are ON SALE during November!
