With a focus on maternal and child survival, Bumi Sehat has developed many programs in Bali.
Some of these include; Midwifery, General Health Services such as pediatric care and HIV/AIDS prevention, Community Outreach, and even Training / Education for the next generation of teachers, midwives and nurses.
Following the tragic tsunami of 2004, they have been able to establish the Aceh Clinic which offers full maternal care, working closelywith the dukun bayi, who are the traditional birth attendants of the region.
Last year Robin Lim, the founder of Bumi Sehat, was chosen as the CNN Hero of the Year!
